For those who seek Christian counseling, we are prepared to provide you with a Christ-centered, Bible-based process. We also realize that people have many different religions, backgrounds, orientations, and perspectives on life. At BCC, we are client-centered and therefore committed to providing every client with a professional and compassionate process that is respectful, truthful, and helpful.

We never turn away a prospective client because they are unable to pay or because they have no health insurance. We do not let health insurance companies dictate how we do business or how we provide counseling. We meet with clients as often and for as long as we and our clients choose. We accept all types of health insurance for payment of counseling services rendered, except straight HMOs. We have a sliding fee scale for those who have no insurance.

Dr. Jack Nealon has been providing counseling & therapy services since 1986. He earned his B.A. degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, followed by an M.A. degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University, and a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from The Union Institute. He is licensed by the State of Maryland as an LCPC , Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.

Dr. Nealon is also the author of a book entitled: RELATIONSHIP RECIPES & REMEDIES in which he discusses the many challenges, symptoms, and solutions that impact adult relating. One foundational theme in this book is that “how you talk with your wife or husband is always more important than what you’re talking about”. Another is that “the core temperature of your relationship will stay warm if there’s enough thoughtful listening, healthy touch, and genuine kind words everyday”. And “the only reason symptoms exist in your life is to call your attention to an unmet need or an unhealed wound”. Because a happy marriage requires a healthy husband and a healthy wife, Dr. Nealon devotes several chapters to the topic of individual wellness. The remaining chapters then outline what everyone has always wanted to know about relating (but was afraid to ask).
